Job Description:
Characteristic Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Oversee project crews in carpentry work required for the maintenance, repair, and alteration of buildings and structures.
2. Attention to detail. Perform duties with a high level of quality.
3. Communicate daily with the clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
4. Keep the jobsite clean and orderly at the end of day.
5. Perform ongoing quality checks, making corrections or
requiring trade contractors to make corrections as necessary.
6. Assist in the supervision/operation of the shop and assigned personnel, as directed.
7. Preparation of estimates, daily work tracking and change orders.
8. Coordinate the flow of jobs, maintenance requests between the field and office.
9. Be able to perform all duties of carpenter or finish carpenter, following recognized procedures/techniques for such work, as required.
10. Provide progress reports at company production meetings.
11. Perform related duties as assigned.
Experience Required:
Required remodeling skills.
1. Experience in rough framing - 2-5 years.
2. Experience in finish carpentry – 5-7 years.
3. Experience in painting – 2-5 years.
4. Experience in window installation – 5-7 years.
5. Experience in door installation, interior and exterior – 5-7 years.
6. Experience in tile layout and installation – 2-5 years.
7. Experience in painting – 5-7 years.
8. Experience in flooring installation – 2-5 years.
