WOW! Carmel Builders does it AGAIN! We cannot thank the Carmel Builders team enough for their beautiful work on our 3rd project to date. After beautiful Kitchen & Master Suite remodels, we knew we needed to work with the same team to give our new Lake Home a major refresh. And boy, it's spectacular! We appreciate their professionalism, communication, attention to detail and their ability to make us feel comfortable every step of the way. We love each of our spaces and have consistently recommended them to our closest family/friends.

We planned our first floor remodel for about 2 years or so, interviewed numerous groups and went with Carmel. Remodel was centered around the kitchen primarily but most of the remainder of the first floor got a facelift also. They did an outstanding job - our remodel ended up exactly how we envisioned. We met and worked with every member of their team, all of whom were responsive and professional. We were kept up to date on all service lines coming to the house in real time, they kept the site clean and live-able through the entire process. Made the right choice, would definitely recommend.

Carmel Builders was awesome and solid from start to finish. Design team, pre-construction, demo, construction, every trade. All the pros who came in pre-construction from each trade partner to measure and get everything correct, who interacted with us on essential details were excellent. The courtesy and professionalism of Carmel and all their trades each step of the way were appreciated. Fit and finish was exceptional and the final project was spot on. We love our final spaces and enjoy living in them every day.

We greatly enjoyed working with Carmel Builders for our recent project finishing our basement. Louis and his staff did a great job with upfront communication from start to finish. The planning and design process led by Tracy and Brooke was very thorough, with their expertise helping us determine the best layout, materials, and hardware selections. The time put into this phase was well worth it, as all selections were finalized before construction started. This provided great peace of mind - once construction started there were no further decisions to be made. All of the subcontractors used were professional and completed their portion of the work with quality craftsmanship. Project Manager Art did a great job handling all of the scheduling and timing to make sure the project was completed in an efficient manner. We would highly recommend working with Carmel Builders for any home improvement project!

We highly recommend Carmel Builders for your remodeling project. The first call to Carmel Builders was professional and informative and after learning about their process, we knew we wanted to partner with them. They have outstanding design and layout support and expert staff for finishes and fixtures! Every aspect of the project from design through construction was tracked and documented in a project management system, making it very easy to know what was happening and when. Our project manager met with us weekly to review what happened the previous week and what we could expect the following week. These weekly meetings allowed us to discuss any questions we may have had. Carmel has longer term subcontractors and suppliers, which speaks to the reputable company they are. If you are thinking about remodeling, give them a call, you won’t be disappointed!!

Carmel Builders worked with us to design and construct a 360 square foot family room addition onto our 1 1/2 story 1939 Cape Cod house. There were challenges in coming up with a roof design that “fit” with the character of the existing house and their design team worked very collaboratively with us to explore the pros and cons of different options. What resulted was a plan that really gave us what we wanted — vaulted ceiling, family room with fireplace, large windows and patio door looking out into the gardens, a pantry, coat closet and a back door entry/“mud room” space for taking on/off shoes and boots — all within our budget. Although the design phase was very smooth, the construction phase had its share of bumps along the way, many the result of factors beyond Carmel’s control (e.g. weather delays, covid delays, supply chain issues etc). To their credit, the Carmel staff were responsive to our concerns and always worked with us to ensure that we would be satisfied and happy with the end result. And we are.

We love our Master suite (Bedroom, Bathroom & Walk- in closet), Powder room refresh & new 2nd floor laundry- Thanks to Art, Louis and the whole Carmel team! Your responsiveness, problem solving skills and quest for quality resulted in beautiful spaces we appreciate everyday!

We just finished up our basement finishing project with Carmel Builders and are so pleased! Not only does the project outcome look great and give us the added functional space we were looking for, the process along the way was very smooth. From design, to selections, to construction, we enjoyed working with all the staff at Carmel. We have quite a few neighbors who are also in the midst of basement remodels, and we were certainly the quickest timeline of them all. Additionally, the quality of the construction is high. Robert, our project manager, paid great attention to detail and was on site a lot. Anything that came up along the way was communicated clearly and in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend Louis and the team at Carmel Builders to friends and neighbors for their remodeling needs.

We had the opportunity to build an addition with Carmel Builders and couldn't be more pleased. Louis, Art and Tracy were amazing to work with, communicating with us every step of the way. Art came out in the middle of a weekend wind storm to ensure our in-progress room was locked down tight. Tracy helped us pick out carpets, furniture, brick, tile, paint and so much more. Her insights transformed the room into a comfortable respite. Carmel's contractors were amazing - friendly, hard-working and experts at their crafts. We give Carmel Builders an A+ and highly recommend them to anyone considering a home addition.

This project was our second experience working with Carmel Builders. As expected, they came through with flying colors. Our first project was the conversion of a den to a mud room and the product was excellent. This time we needed an additional first floor bedroom to allow my 91 year old father to move in with us. We converted a screened porch to a bedroom. Carmel personnel listened to our needs and designed the perfect room. They also designed the conversion while keeping in mind the long term usage potential for our family. In the future the room can be re-purposed for use as a laundry room. Following the design phase, they proceeded to build it. The design and final product complements our home and looks as if it was original to the home constructed in 1929. The staff was helpful with suggestions for design and handled unanticipated problems along the way with professionalism all the while keeping us informed. The owner, Louis Weiher, is honest and approachable and will ensure that the customer is completely satisfied. Because of his approach, his staff follows his lead and produces an excellent product. Every single individual involved in the project was always friendly and helpful. They utilize individuals who possess the skills, work ethic and attitudes that make it so easy to produce a great product with professionalism while being friendly and helpful. We always felt comfortable with any of the individuals who worked in and around our home. We look forward to working with Carmel Builders for our next home improvement project!
